Ballet ~ Royal Academy of Dance
Our Academy teaches the Royal Academy of Dance Syllabus, which is an international graded program for Pre-Primary to Advanced. We have a specialized Pre-school program for 3 & 4 year olds taught by caring qualified teachers. The program focus is on teaching basic ballet steps and developing skills in listening, learning to take turns, following a leader, being a leader, and instilling a love for dance.
  Junior Ballet Program
  Pre-School, Pre-Primary, Primary-open, Primary (R.A.D. ballet)
  1 ballet class per week and all classes are 1 hour.
  Intermediate Ballet Program
  Grade 1 to Grade 5 (R.A.D. ballet)
  2 syllabus ballet classes per week are compulsory and all classes are 1 hour.
  Grade 4 and 5 can also add Open ballet class*.
  Senior Ballet Program
  Intermediate Foundation to Advanced (R.A.D. ballet)
  3 ballet classes per week are compulsory and classes are 1¼ - 1½ hours.
  * New Program: Open Ballet (Grade 4 and 5)
  We are now offering this program to Grade 4 and 5 ballet students.
  This class will comprise of challenging steps above the Grade 5 level as well
  as some important stretch exercises. Please note that two syllabus classes
  are compulsory before adding this elective.

Jazz
This program focuses on perfecting turns and jumps which enhances the ballet training. Our diversified faculty offers challenging and creative classes and choreography. Dancers must be enrolled in Grade 1 ballet or higher before adding jazz to their curriculum.

Lyrical
Lyrical is based on jazz technique and trains a dancer to work on emotion through movement. Dancers must be enrolled in Intermediate Foundation ballet or higher and be enrolled in jazz before adding lyrical to their curriculum.

Modern
Over the past 15 years it has become apparent that modern is the most important elective to enhance ballet training. It is evident in all of the major ballet companies world wide. This dance medium teaches the body to explore movement in very challenging ways. Our modern program follows the methods of Jose Limone, Martha Graham, and Margie Gillis to name a few. Dancers must be enrolled in Grade 4 ballet or higher before adding modern to their curriculum.

Stretch & Strength
This class enhances the dancer’s flexibility and core strength, both which are very necessary for all dancers. Dancers must be enrolled in Intermediate Foundation ballet or higher before adding stretch & strength to their curriculum.

Adult Ballet
This class is offered to adults with some ballet experience. There is an option of paying $84.00 every 2 months or $12.00 for a drop-in class.
